Before you write in
Message us on Instagram with a photo and the exact location — that gets seen fastest. If the animal is bleeding, unable to stand, or a very young puppy without its mother, please stay with it if you safely can while we coordinate. Keep it warm and offer water, but don't give food or medicine until a vet has seen it.
No. Adoption is free. Our puppies come dewormed and vaccinated, and we share their medical records with you. We do screen adopters carefully — we've turned down plenty of enquiries, including breeders — because our only concern is where the dog ends up.
Sometimes, yes — it depends on the distance and how the transport would affect the puppy. Write to us with your city and we'll tell you honestly whether it's workable for that particular dog.
Everything goes into food, vaccinations, deworming, vet bills and shelter running costs. The day-to-day is documented openly on our Instagram — rescues, treatments and outcomes, including the ones that don't go well. If you'd like a specific breakdown or a receipt, just ask.
Plenty. Feed the strays on your own street, put out a clean bowl of water, join a feeding round, sponsor one puppy's medical care through virtual adoption, or send something from our wishlist. Most of the people on our inspiration stories page started exactly this way.
